Burial Warfare Overview
Stay bold and fearless, because a midnight stroll through the graveyard is ahead, and you’ll feel more than just the giant, mesmerizing moon staring back. This is the Night of the Living Dead, after all, and it’s shaping up to be an incredibly long, breathtaking night.
Burial Warfare is a 6-reel, 4-row slot featuring: two teams for you to choose, Wild, Explosive, and Scatter symbols, a Stash Opening mini-game, a Loss Bonus, and Free Spins. Before the gameplay starts, you pick your side: Humans or Zombies. You can switch teams at any time, and symbols matching your chosen team award higher payouts. There are also team-specific symbols. These appear for both sides but come in a distinct team color, and their winnings are tripled. Human and zombie hands with thumbs up act as Scatter symbols. Depending on your selected team, three or more Scatters on the reels win a round for one side or the other. If your team wins the round, you receive a Loss Bonus and a chance to open a Crate (Coffin) hiding an extra reward.
Inside the crate are all symbols on the screen with reward value, plus the Jackpot symbol (a bonus symbol whose reward equals the sum of all rewards multiplied by 10). Opening the crate gives you one of these bonus rewards, with its special value listed in the rules under "stash."
Three enemy Scatter symbols mean you lose the round. But don’t worry—each losing round increases the Loss Bonus, which is paid after a round win or a draw (when three Scatter symbols from both teams appear on screen). The Loss Bonus starts at zero at the beginning of the game and grows by bet/2 each time the opposing team wins. After the Loss Bonus is paid, it resets to zero.
Three consecutive round wins grant you a massive 30 Free Spins! During Free Spins, Scatter elements don’t appear on the reels, boosting your win rate.
To win this showdown, you have a wide arsenal of high-impact tools. For instance, dynamite that explodes and destroys all non-allied symbols nearby, the team-neutral Bottle Rocket that switches enemy symbols to Wilds, or the Molotov/Acid Flask that replaces adjacent horizontal and vertical symbols with Wilds.
